304 Mainframe is a 1 3/4" tall enclosure for standard rack mounting. It supplies power for up to four standard width circuit cards. |
321 (mono) & 322 (dual or stereo) "Whisper" audio demodulators are built for 7.5 or 15 kHz audio. Models are available for "FM-FM" signals or "above video" subcarriers. Output signals are at line level, balanced or unbalanced. |
321-D (mono) Dip-switch programmable "Whisper" audio demodulator has performance specifications identical with the 321/322 demodulators. In addition, the 321-D has a defeatable noise-triggered squelch for unattended sites. Switch settings may be calculated with a scientific calculator or with a furnished PC diskette. |
323 Audio Demodulators have a 3.5kHz audio bandwidth for communications audio or analog data communications signals. Special deemphasis and companding schemes are available (prices may vary from standard). |
327 AGILE Audio Demodulator provides backup of all system "WHISPER" demodulators. The 327 has the ability to tune any FM-FM subcarrier as well as above-video subcarriers. Output filtering deletes "subaudible" cue tones. An optional Remote Control permits tuning up to several hundred feet away. |
331 (mono) & 332 (stereo) FM Modulators are crystal synthesized and are frequency programmable. The standard frequency range is 88.1-107.9 mHz in .2 mHz steps. Output levels are compatible with cable TV headends for retransmission of local audio signals or programs from our satellite demodulators. |
361 AFSK Data Demodulator provides an RS-232 ouput at the customer specified data rate. Indicators show data activity and loss of signal. |
366 DFSK Data Demodulators are sync or async units available in data rates to 19.2 kilobaud. Standard output is RS-232. Indicator lamps show data activity and loss of subcarrier signal. |
367 Synchronous DFSK Data Demodulators are available in baud rates up to 64 k with others available on special order. RS-232 or 422 are available. Data activity and loss of subcarrier indicators are standard. |
381 (Three function) Tone Decoder detects the presence of 25 and 35 Hz tones in the demodulated audio stream and provides on-second (adjustable) contact closure to control local radio automation equipment for cut-aways and station breaks. The 381 operates on a single mono audio channel. |
383 (Six or Fifteen function) Tone Decoder is similar to the 381 tone decoder, but operates on both channels of a stereo pair. By using both 25 and 35 Hz tones on each of the audio channels, multiple functions can be obtained. Relays are included on board so no other parts need to be ordered.
Need Read Out Display settings for your 383-15 Tone Decoder? |
389 Tone Encoder is used at the studio to generate tones for the 381/383 or compatible tone decoders to receive. One 389 is needed for each audio channel (two units required for a stereo pair). |
391 Satellite Baseband Receiver operates in the 950 to 1450 mHz "block-down" frequency range which allows operation on both Ku and C band satellites. The 391 has 32 mHz IF filtering for video transponders. Baseband has a CCIR deemphasis non-clamped output to permit video monitors to be used for dish alignment. |
392 Satellite Receiver is similar to the 391, but has a bandwidth sharply limited to 16mHz for "FM-FM" systems. A 9.69 or 6.81 translator is included on board for demods which require it.
